In short. We keep what you send us through the form or the calendar, and we record how visitors use this site. We use it to reply to you, to build your website, to improve the site, and to know when a business we built a preview for comes back. We advertise on other platforms, and their tags on our site tell them which ads bring people here and who to show our ads to. We do not sell your details for money. To see, correct or delete what we hold, email [email protected].
Who we are
Cuee builds websites for small businesses. Cuee is run by Airbase Technologies LLC. This page covers cuee.ai and heycuee.com, and the website previews we host at addresses ending in cueeweb.co.
What you send us
The start form. We keep what you type: your name, your business, what you sell, the package you are interested in, your town, the style you picked, your email and, if you give it, your phone number. We also keep the time, the country and city your connection came from, the page that sent you, your browser's identification string, and the link, campaign or ad that brought you to the site. We use this to reply to you and, if you go ahead, to build your website. It is stored with our hosting provider, Cloudflare, and a copy is emailed to us.
Booking a call. The calendar on the start page is run by Cal.com, and what you enter there is handled under Cal.com's privacy policy. Cal.com tells us about the booking, and we keep your name, your email, your phone number if you gave one, the time of the call, and the link, campaign or ad that brought you here.
How visitors use the site
These run for every visitor.
Our visitor cookie. Our server sets a cookie, cuee_v, that holds a random id. When you arrive from an ad, a campaign link or another website, we note the id with the page you landed on, the site you came from, the campaign tags in the link and the ad's click id. We do not store your IP address with it. These notes are deleted after 90 days; a short summary stays with a form or a booking.
Google Analytics counts visits and shows which pages people read. When we run Google ads, it also tells Google Ads which visits led to a form or a booked call. Google explains its part here: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
PostHog shows us where people get stuck. It records visits so we can replay them: what the page showed, mouse movements, clicks, scrolling and taps, and technical messages from the page. With each visit it also keeps your IP address and the approximate location it points to. What you type into a form is hidden in the recording.
Cloudflare counts page loads without cookies, and its spam check on the form (Turnstile) looks at your browser to tell a person from a script. See Cloudflare's Turnstile privacy addendum.
Our visit script. A script of ours runs on this site and on our previews. For each visit it records your IP address and the approximate location it points to (country, region, city, postal code and rough coordinates) and your network provider; your browser, operating system and type of device, and details such as screen size, language and time zone; the page that sent you; which pages you open, for how long, how far you scroll, which parts of a page were on screen, and what you click; whether you start or send a form, never what you type; when you copy text from the page, its length and whether it looks like a phone number or email address, never the text itself; and technical details such as page errors and load times. We use it to understand how the site is used. When a business we built a preview for visits this site, it also sends us one email so we can follow up with them. It can recognise a returning visitor from their network address even without cookies.
If you send the form, book a call, or arrive from a preview we built for your business, we can connect your visit records and your PostHog recording to your enquiry or your business.
Advertising
We advertise on Google, Meta (Facebook and Instagram), LinkedIn, Reddit, Quora and X, and may add similar platforms. Their tags on our pages tell each platform that you visited, which pages you saw, and whether you sent the form or booked a call. The platform links this to its own records about you, for example your account if you are signed in, so it can count which ads work and show our ads to you and to people like you.
When you send the form or book a call, we may also send the platform whose ad brought you here your email address and phone number in scrambled (hashed) form, the ad's click id, and technical details such as your IP address and browser, so it can match the result to its ad. Each platform handles this under its own privacy policy. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we do not send your form or booking details to advertising platforms. Each platform also lets you limit ad tracking in its own ad settings.
Cookies and storage
cuee_v (our visitor id, up to 400 days). _ga and _ga_ followed by a code (Google Analytics, up to 2 years). A cookie starting with ph_ plus matching entries in local and session storage (PostHog, up to 1 year). _cv (our visit script, set from cueeweb.co, up to 400 days) and the local storage entries _cuee_v and _cuee_s (our visit script). A short-lived entry in session storage while you send the form, and a local storage entry, cuee-cookies, that remembers you pressed Accept on the cookie notice. The Cal.com calendar may store its own items under Cal.com's policy. The advertising platforms' tags set their own cookies, such as _fbp from Meta, _gcl_au from Google and _rdt_uuid from Reddit, for as long as each platform sets them. You can delete any of these in your browser and the site keeps working; our visit script may still recognise you by network address, so to stop that, email us.
Who else receives information
The companies named above provide these tools: Cloudflare (hosting, database, spam check, page counts), Google (analytics), PostHog (analytics and recordings), Cal.com (calendar), our email service, and the advertising platforms named above. These companies may process data in the United States. Apart from them, and the services Cal.com uses inside its own calendar, no other company collects information about you on our pages. Our site does not respond differently to Do Not Track signals.
What we do not do
We do not sell or rent your details for money. We do not send newsletters unless you ask for one.
How long we keep it
What you send through the form or the calendar: while we are talking or working together, or until you ask us to delete it. Our campaign notes: 90 days, unless they belong to a form or a booking. Our visit script's records: 13 months. Google Analytics: detailed data for up to 14 months; Google keeps totals, such as page counts, longer. PostHog: recordings are deleted after 30 days, and we can use other visit data for one year. Advertising platforms: for as long as each platform's own policy says.
Your choices and rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] and we will answer within 30 days. If you ask us to stop following up on a preview visit, we delete what our visit script holds about you. If we turn down a request, reply to our answer and we will look at it again.
If you are in the EU, the UK or Switzerland
We use your details to answer you and to prepare work you ask for, and because we have a legitimate interest in running, protecting and improving this site and in following up with businesses we built previews for. You can object to that at any time by email, and you can complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
This site is not meant for children under 16, and we do not knowingly keep their details.
